TwntyApps : Decimal Discounts Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how TwntyApps ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, retains, and protects information when you install or use the TwntyApps: Decimal Discounts application (the "App") in connection with your Shopify store.

1. Information We Collect

When you install and use the App, we collect only the minimal data required to provide discount configuration and audit logging:

Store Account Information: Your store domain (e.g., your-store.myshopify.com), store name, currency, and store contact email address. This is used solely for account authentication, subscription status, and customer support.
Discount & Promotion Data (Last 60 Days): Discount titles, Shopify discount IDs, discount classes (Product, Order, Buy X Get Y), and configured percentage rates for discounts created within the last 60 days. The App does not synchronize or store expired promotions that were never modified through the App.
Audit & Activity Logs: A rolling 60-day record of percentage adjustments, including previous percentage values, updated decimal percentages, change timestamps, author attribution (e.g., store staff email or Shopify Admin), and whether the promotion was customized using our App.
Authentication Credentials: Encrypted, scoped OAuth access tokens used to communicate securely with Shopify platform APIs.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information exclusively to:

Enable precision decimal percentage rates (up to 2 decimal places) on product, order, and Buy X Get Y discounts.
Maintain a rolling 60-day audit log showing when discount rates were modified and by whom.
Provide one-click restoration of customized discounts back to their original default values.
Verify active subscription tiers via official Shopify Billing API endpoints.
Provide customer support and resolve technical inquiries.

We respect your privacy. We do not sell, rent, monetize, or disclose your store or discount information to third parties, advertisers, or data brokers.

Information is processed only through secure cloud infrastructure and database providers bound by strict confidentiality, data protection, and security standards solely for operating the App.

We implement automated data lifecycle controls to ensure data is never retained longer than necessary:

Rolling 60-Day Sync & Activity Window: Discount synchronization, dashboard metrics, and activity audit trails operate strictly within a rolling 60-day window. Data older than 60 days is automatically excluded.
Handling of Expired Discounts:
- Discounts not edited in the App: If a discount was never customized or saved using our App and expires (either automatically when its scheduled end date is reached or manually via Shopify Admin), it is not stored in our database and will not appear in your activity logs. Any unedited logs associated with expired discounts are automatically pruned.
- App-Edited Discounts: If a discount was modified or customized using our App, its activity trail is preserved within your rolling 60-day activity history—even if the discount subsequently expires—so you always retain a reliable audit trail of your promotional changes.
App Uninstallation: When you uninstall the App, automated Shopify webhooks immediately invalidate your active session tokens. All remaining store details, sessions, and edit logs are permanently deleted from our database within 48 hours.
GDPR Mandatory Webhooks: We fully support and comply with all platform compliance webhooks (customers/data_request, customers/redact, and shop/redact). Receiving a shop/redact request triggers the immediate and complete erasure of all records related to your store.

5. Security of Your Data

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational security measures to protect your store information, including encrypted database connections (TLS/SSL), HTTPS transport layer encryption, secure token storage, and strict principle-of-least-privilege access controls.

6. Merchant Rights

Under applicable data protection laws (including GDPR and CCPA), you have the right to access, export, or request deletion of any store or configuration data we maintain. Because our activity logs maintain exportable CSV reports and automatically prune after 60 days or upon uninstallation, you retain full visibility and control over your store's discount history.
